Helping local businesses in tough times

18 03 2009

Today I had a great conversation with Jason Villarreal.  I met Jason when I was working on the RISE Conference & started to get to know him a little bit more; we discussed family, business, SXSW, social media & yes, even edible gardens (via my wife/business partner’s new start-up).  Jason knew that I had an interest in supporting local businesses, in particular with my work in Hispanic Engagement.  He started to tell me about a great opportunity for businesses & I thought this would be something worth sharing.

As a committee member of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Jason’s goal is to introduce this learning opportunity con todos & I signed up to help!
