The blog title says it all! When I met with John-Michael Cortez, co-founder of FuturoFund I was intrigued & then inspired! John-Michael & I share the same vision for all Hispanics – to cultivate leadership within the Hispanic community. We do believe there are Hispanic leaders in the greater Austin area but I believe there is a leadership gap & we need more. I believe the FuturoFund is a great vehicle for developing community & philanthropic leaders in Austin. I’m on board with their vision and I want more Hispanics and non-Hispanics to engage with them & support them in their efforts. Their hosting a reception on Thursday. I’ll be there & hope you will too!
